Children's Homes maintains nine family-style residential cottages on its main campus in Paragould, Arkansas. Each cottage is staffed and managed by a Christian family. This husband-and-wife team -- we call them "houseparents" -- oversee the children in their cottage.
With only a few exceptions, children who live in residential care at Children's Homes have their own bedrooms. (There are a few rooms with two beds instead of one, but they are the exception and not the rule.) Children in care at Children's Homes are expected to participate in "family activities" including daily devotionals and Bible studies, sit-down meals, daily household responsibilities (cleaning, mowing, etc.), and any family fun outings or activities.
In keeping with our mission, children will attend regular worship services with their houseparents. We make no apologies for our emphasis on teaching the children in our care to walk in the paths of truth and light. We are a faith-based organization, and each child will receive regular and consistent spiritual training.
Here are our cottages. Please note that for security purposes, they are not marked or identified in any way. They are presented in random order and the image files have been assigned random names to prevent identification. This is necessary to provide security for our families and children on campus.
