Many people make gifts to Children's Homes to honor the memory or life of a friend or loved one. Memorial gifts -- those made in memory of someone who has died -- are a beautiful expression of sympathy and remembrance. When we receive Memorial gifts, we send a note of acknowledgement to the person of your choosing, so that those closest to the deceased person will know that your gift was made in honor of their loved one's legacy. Gifts of Honor are those gifts made to celebrate milestones and accomplishments, say thanks, or simply to honor someone who has touched the giver's life in some way. The honoree will be notified of your Gift of Honor. In both instances, the gifts made are "double blessings." Your thoughtful gift honors the life or memory of someone who has played a role in your life, and the funds given help ease the burdens of children victimized by abuse, neglect and cruelty. Every gift made to Children's Homes can be made as a Memorial Gift or a Gift of Honor. For information about these gifts, or to check on a specific Honor/Memorial gift, contact Cindy Barnett .
