Praying for our children and staff.
Being involved with our Foodrun Program - Churches participate in our quarterly and bi-annual food/thrift routes. (We update needed items with each route)
Hosting a Cottage Family for a weekend, i.e. taking the group to a theme park, zoo, baseball game, etc.
Providing a week or weekend vacation package for a House Parent Family.
Helping Hands Projects - groups or individuals who help our cottages with needs of towels, sheets, kitchen items, or larger items such as heavy duty vacuum or a microwave, etc.
Adopting a Cottage - groups or individuals to take care of the needs of a cottage such as new carpet or vinyl, remodel bathrooms, etc.
Who do you know? We need contacts:
For Private and Corporate Foundations, (Board Members, Administrative Assistants, etc.) who might be willing to help Children’s Homes receive grants.
To make Children’s Homes known to Corporations who can receive up to 150% deduction from the IRS for donating excess or surplus inventory.
Checking with your company to see if they have a matching gift program.
Contributing funds toward reimbursement for glasses, braces, dermatologist, etc.
Contributing funds for college scholarships, Christian youth camps, sports camps, etc.
Donating items to our Thrift and Treasure Shoppe. We need all furniture, large and small appliances, what-knots, tools, etc. Nice adult and children's clothing.
Volunteering your time.
Giving financially through your choice of programs:
Heartmenders - monthly giving program
Children’s Trust - annual giving program
Change for Children - filling a coin bank each year (our goal is $60 per coin bank)
Care-A-Van Club (200 families giving $10/month to replace 2 cottage vans each year).
Honor / Memorial - we send acknowledgments to the family or individuals.
Variety of endowment opportunities available to ensure future services to His Children.
Free Estate Planning services available -- informational packet and/or personal visit.
